It’s a new month, plus it’s February, so I had fun making a Cupid-themed DT
card for the challenge at QKR Stampede. Stop by the
challenge, which is always “Anything Goes” and several prizes are awarded.
Maybe you’ll be inspired to enter a card or two yourself?
This easel card front is made with an upcycled wedding card (I love the
almost invisible LOVE sentiments). Sparkly stickers add bling, and the adorable
Cupid at center stage will surely brighten someone's day.

The current challenge at Scribbles Designs has a penguin theme so I
just had to make another card using my favorite Scribbles Designs penguin, named
“Brrr”! In this digi Brrr holds a clock. And since both a front and rear view
of Brrr are available, I just had to make a card with an open frame front! It
was a bit tedious, but I created the countdown on my computer, cut the numbers
out, adhered them to gold circles (made with a punch), and positioned them on
the card. A smattering of sparkly stars extends the celebration to the inside of
the card. 4-3-2-1 Happy New Year!!
Supplies:

Clock- Front)
·

My final card features another sweet digi from Scribbles, a free reindeer named Rudy! Poised atop the Reindeer Names Subway
Art, a layer of bright red glitter adds some bling to Rudy’s nose (and the “o” in the name Rudolph). And googly eyes add a little bit of fun!
I’m entering the card into several challenges including two with
themes that involve Words (The Time Out and The
Path of Positivity Challenge) plus the Cupcake Challenge (the sheer dotted Swiss
ribbon fits the current polka dot theme.)
Supplies:
· Subway Art Background- Freebie from Outlawz
Challenge (no longer available)
·
Colored with Spectrum
Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Inside Sentiment-
“Ready or Not Here Comes Christmas” from Beccy’s Place Digital set (Here Comes Christmas)

Fantastic New Year card you made using Brrr... I love that image and so clever to use him on a window card like that and keep the count down going on the inside of the card. Love it! We are so happy to see you playing along with our challenge at Scribbles Design. Hope to see you back with us soon again. Best of luck Nick DT
