myasperations 3-22-22

This is my second card for the Butterfly Challenge, which is one of my favs!  Each challenge offers several colors and a theme that we can use on our cards, plus a specific creative fold that we can use if desired.  The current challenge is to create a Latch Fold Card and sponsor, Mrs. A, provides easy-to-follow instructions.  My card includes all four of the colors (Lake Blue, Lettuce, Light Pink, and lavender), and all three themes (Latch Fold, Lace- the paper kind, and Butterfly.) I’m entering this card into several challenges including Incy Wincy Designs- Nature (What can beat flowers in this category?)
PS Beccy’s Place will be retiring many digital and clear stamp sets, including the lovely watering can and roses used on this card, at the end of April. Until then, you can pick up some nice items for 50% Off! Link to the entire list HERE
Supplies:

·   Watering Can and Rose Images from a Beccy’s Place Clear Stamp Set (Nancy’s Garden)

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Front Sentiment- “Hello” Sticker-Hobby Lobby

·   Inside Sentiment- “Happy Spring” from Imagine That Digi Set Teacup Bunny (No longer available)

·   All other items from my stash.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge- March

This card, featuring a few gems from my scrapbook stash is my first entry in Double D’s current challenge that’s all about handles! Nestled between the handlebars of this red bike image is a lovely basket of Spring flowers. I fussy-cut a few flowers from a scrap of patterned paper, then attached them to the baskets display with foam tape to add some depth.
I’m also entering this card into several other challenges including Cupcake Inspirations- Color Challenge (my card includes all three of the required colors: Iced Mint, Blush, Buttercup) and Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge (Flowers).

Supplies:
·   Bike with flower basket image and fussy-cut flowers are from my scrapbook stash

·   Front Sentiment “Hello Sweet Friend” from Beccy’s Place Digital Set (Keeping It Simple)

·   Inside Sentiment- Simply Cards & Papercrafts Magazine#171-Bonus sentiment downloads (No longer available)

·   All other items from my stash.

My final card this posting was created for the current Lift Challenge that requires a Tunnel Card and provided a link to an excellent tutorial. I used a scrap of acetate as my middle section because it provides support for the large fussy-cut Mermaid image and allows the background to show through. Lots of cute little critters from a Fred She Said digi set help add some activity and colors to the card. So fun!

Supplies:
·  Inside Tunnel Card- Jennifer McGuire’s Tutorial can be found HERE
·  Digi- Polkadoodles Digi (Winnie Mermaid- Best Friends)

·  Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·  Front Sentiment and Embellishments- Mermaid Scrapbook Set from Hobby Lobby

·  Seahorse, Fish and underwater plants from Fred She Said Colored digi set (Emma Mermaid)

·  Stickles- Star Dust (on mermaid scales and dotted on the front and inside of the card)

·  All other items from my stash.

You've done a wonderful job building up the layers on all three of them, and of course, I also love that you've decorated the inside of each. Wonderful embellishments too, you certainly have some beautiful bits and bobs in your stash. Fabulous!
