of yellow gold and added black photo corners for contrast. The sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations. Am entering

Heart and I created my DT card with a
great image named “Rudy Rooster.” A friend raises chickens and I colored this
handsome guy with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll
white gel pen to represent one of her favorite roosters. (But I also did some
google research to assist with the coloring and feathering.) The red plaid background is cut from a paper
napkin (I picked up a package from the local dollar store for… well… a dollar!)
and the sentiments are computer-generated.

My final card for this posting features a beautiful
Ching-Chou Kuik digital image named “Peony“ which I colored with Spectrum Noir markers and a
Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. I loved coloring the digi with rich fall colors and added a few small ruby red rhinestones to add a touch of elegance. (You can see them in the close-up pic; one on her headdress, two on her necklace. I also used a silver and a gold gel pen on her jewelry. You can't see it very well in the photo, but they add a beautiful luster and shine.)
Am entering this card into several challenges that
focus on colors of fall including Ching-Chou
Kuik’s blog and FB challenges (Pumpkin/Halloween Colors), and Power Poppy ‘s “What
Flower are You? (I’ve always loved poppies, and when I researched and learned
that they represent remembrance and peace I knew that I had my flower! I also have worked in
the field of drug prevention for over 30 years… so I regularly teach people able
the dangers of drugs, including opium/heroin that comes from poppies.) I also just discovered a new challenge for DT's Only. There is some pretty steep competition... but I think I'll learn from the other DT's as many are so very talented!
