Mid-week fun

It's Wednesday! So time for another challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog where challenges are always Anything Goes and prizes are awarded from one or more sponsors.  Stop by the blog to check it out! The sponsor this week is Little Blue Button and I used a digi named "Winter Charlie." I colored the cutie with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. The “Hello” the sentiment is a freebie that you can find HEREThe inside sentiment is computer generated. And the snowflakes are from a Lawn Fawn die set- LF995 Mini Snowflakes.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge- Sept

A few days ago I posted a card that included a sparkly die-cut butterfly (HERE) I used the same process to make this card, using an ornament die, plus red and gold microfine glitter. I wanted it to look like the ornament was hanging on a tree branch, so I created a background with scrapbook paper. After adhering it to an A2 card front with gold photo corners, I attached the ornament with foam tape. I had purchased a packet of sparkly stickers from Hobby Lobby and added a holly sprig to the ornament. The final touches on the front of the  card were to add five red rhinestones “berries” and a gold twine bow. The packet of stickers also included a sparkly sentiment that I used it on the inside of the card.

My final card for this posting is from a talented artist named Sherry West. This is one off her latest creations named Leila Ladybug. I colored the sweet image using Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. I knew that wanted the red to really pop so kept the rest of my coloring monochromatic. Finished the card off with some of my favorite sheer B&W dotted ribbon (that I usually find at Hobby Lobby or JoAnnes), which I attached to a computer-generated sentiment.

  4. I first want to apologize for taking so long to comment. I have been on holidays and I love looking at everyone's entries so I told the design team that I would respond to my quota of entries once I returned. Very lovely card.
