I recently placed a small order for Echo Park Paper with Scrapbook.com and was thrilled to get these two Art Impressions totally free. Aren't they adorable? And the little snowguy was so fun to color with Spectrum Noir markers and a white gel pen. And isn't the foiled background gorgeous? I upcycled it from a Christmas card that a friend made for me to create this easel card. The circles are made with a Stampin' Up circle punch, The Merry Christmas sentiment is computer generated.

I wanted to make a unique card for The Sisterhood of Crafters current challenge that says, "Use anything with a diamond SHAPE" when creating. I figured, the Star Trek Insignia is sort of a diamond shape isn't it? [But, I'll understand if this insignia doesn't count as a diamond and is disqualified.] I've been a Star Trek fan since the '60s so I loved this card design when I saw it on Pinterest a while ago. Of course, I needed to add a humorous sentiment, computer generated, to my card. So fun! [For some reason all the pics I took of the sentiment were blurry. I'll try taking another one in real sunlight... that is if the sun shows its face again within the next month or so.]

Made another card for the STAMPlorations Linky Party. This time I used the free digi named "Framed love always." You can find this freebie and several others HERE. I printed the image in both grey parchment and white cardstock and added shading on both. Used a ruler to sketch a rectangle around the flowers on the white image. Then fussy-cut along the rectangle, trimming around the leaves and blooms. Mounted that rectangle onto scraps of pink and green vellum and adhered it to the grey background with foam squares. Colored the stamens yellow-gold, then traced the large bloom onto pink vellum. Trimmed and adhered to the card, and added a few small hearts cut from snippets of pink vellum. Attached the finished panel to a bright pink A2 card with sage green photo corners from my scrapbook stash. The inside sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations. [You can find it HERE.] Added photo corners and a pink vellum heart to reflect the front of the card… and called it done.
