A card for the current Butterfly "Letter V" Challenge that includes 1 Color (Vermillion) and 1 theme (Vertical-the A2 card is arranged on the vertical). I used an old embossing powder from Stampendous that includes black powder plus a large sprinkling of multicolored glitter. (I'm making seasonal cards for wedding gift packs and needed a few Easter ones. This fits the bill!) The wood mount butterfly stamp is from PSX and the sentiment is from Printworks.

The current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge includes a photo inspiration of fireworks. When cleaning my craft room I found this wonderful fireworks image that I had stamped on black a few years ago. Then used an assortment of glittery embossing powders plus silver glitter paper stars to add flash and sparkle. The front of the card sentiment was created on my computer. The vellum Celebrate sentiment on the inside of the card is from a packet of scrapbook sentiments. . (I added a closeup so you can see the sparkle and colors. (The most interesting embossing powder is green with red glitter. It is PERFECT for fireworks! Got it many years ago from Stampendous.)

Another card for the SumMoreFun Mood Board challenge. This time, the roses in the photos inspired me. I used a few vintage stamps from my collection- rose stamp from Denami and Sentiment from Posh Impressions- and embossed them on vellum with silver pearl powder. Love the frosty elegance!

Artistic Inspirations Challenge-Challenge #203 (artisticinspirationschallenges.blogspot.com.au)
I won this great stamp in the recent Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Was a little hard to color, since the mice kinda blended right into the background! So… I added more shading to the mice and went over the coffee bag fabric with a white colored pencil to tone it down a bit. Next time I'll use a lighter color on the bag to simplify things. I did paper piece the cup, stamping it on multi-colored dots background paper. I shaded the cup with my Spectrum Noir markers and added a few highlights with white gel pen. The fussycut the cup and adhered to the card front.
