YOUnique

Decided to finish one more card for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "For The Boys" before I call it a night. Since it includes a wonderful Bugaboo image, I used the sketch from the Bugaboo Stella Says Challenge and will enter it into that challenge (and a few others, too.) I used denim scrapbook paper and a strip of vinyl wallpaper that looks like tooled leather to created the background panels. The sentiment is from a packet of scrapbook stuff!

Used an adorable digi image from Little Scraps of Heaven to make a quick Mother's Day card last week. (You can find the free image here http://lshdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/01/weekly-freebie-for-jan-23-29.html)  love to upcycle items to use in my crafting. The background paper on this card is actually a tissue box. I loved the fresh Spring feeling of the floral design, maybe because I am so very glad that it is FINALLY Spring!

I have several high school graduations to attend this month. I love this wonderful stamp from Eureka so put it to good use. The school's colors for this graduate are burgundy and black so that was my color scheme. I decorated the card with a scrapbook sentiment tag. And the black paper with white images (that resemble chalk drawings) is actually another upcycled item from my stash. It was a postcard from a local pizza shop advertising "back to school" specials last fall. (I might have to tell the young friend about this since she LOVES pizza!)
