Made another pocket watch card for the Simon Says Monday Challenge. This time used a great free digi that has a beautifully ornate clock face to give the card a more feminine shabby chic feel. Once again, I printed the pocket watch on vellum, but this time I colored the image from the front with a silver pen. Layered scraps of sage green paper, strips of pale rose wallpaper and pieces of text from an old book (which shows through the watch face.) Finished the card off with an old PSX sentiment and flourishes that I die cut from burnished silver cardstock. Love the pretty sheen it adds to the card!

Many years ago my younger sister gave me a sweatshirt with the sentiment on this card. I am finally using it on a card. It works perfectly with the wonderful wood mount from Northwoods stamps.

A card on Pinterest inspired me to make this card. I printed the sentiment off on my computer, adding two free clip art cookies (reduced to micro-mini size) to add some fun to the already cute card! The large cookie in CM's mouth is fussy cut from a magazine ad. I do so love to upcycle... and also "Me love cookies!"
