Another entry into the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. This one is made with a stack of coffee cups digi (etsy.com/ca/shop/carmensplace) and directions for paper piecing this fun card (beyondthefringecrafts.blogspot.com/2018/04/getting-creative-with-digital-stamps.html) The fun sentiment is from kelliewinnell.typepad.com/blog/freebie-Friday.

These two characters from Art Impressions (named Eunice and Cliff) always make me smile, especially when paired with this sentiment, also from Art Impressions. (I keep a number of these cards on hand because my hubby and I send it to friends and family, mainly because as the years zip past we resemble Eunice and Cliff!) Am entering this card into several challenges including Art Impressions "Door Openings" (hope that a gate fold design qualifies), Simon Says "More than one stamp" (I used three AI stamps) plus CAS-ual Fridays 8th Anniversary "Happy Birthday" challenge.

ReplyDeleteLove the stack of cups with fun sentiment inside!
ReplyDeleteYour first card is fabulous Kathy, I really like that sentiment... you must have lots of great sentiments in your collection. I love the way you've pieced the cups from different patterned papers, they look awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying the wonderful nautical cards you're making Kathy, they make me want to go on holiday to somewhere warm and breezy where I can sit by the water and watch the waves roll in. The upcycled calendar pages are fabulous, it must have been a great calendar.
I got a chuckle from the description of your last card Kathy, I think most of us can relate to the passing of the years! Love the two characters on your card and I like the way you've placed one on either side of the gatefold.
Cheers,
Beccy
