I wanted to make a card for this week's 12th Birthday celebration
at the Time Out Challenge. The photo inspiration is a gorgeous red flower,
with green accents on a dark grey & white background. My card features a
wood-mount stamp that I’ve had in my collection for many years, and includes a bright red poppy, in a green
soda bottle set off by a B&W background.
(Note, I stamped the bottle in black ink on green vellum, fussy-cut the
image, and adhered it atop the original stamped image to provide the lovely shade
of green. A white gel pen helps to add highlights to turn the vellum into the
look of glass.)
· Wood-Mount Stamp
from Inkadinkado (Vintage Flower In a Bottle) stamped on thick watercolor paper
· Colored with Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils and a Sakura Gelly Roll white & silver gel
pens
· Front Sentiments- from a Beccy’s Place Digi set (Beachside Bliss) (Beccy recently closed her digi shop. She now sells clear stamp sets online.
Check HERE to see which sets are
available!)
·
Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
·
Scraps of patterned paper, green
vellum, other misc.
items and tools from my stash.

I had so much fun making the last card that I created a second similar
one. It features the same stamp and color scheme as the first card, but I used alcohol
markers in lighter shades of red and green, and applied them in sheer washes of
color. The computer-generated sentiment was printed on vellum to add a bit of
translucency to the card!
Supplies:
· Wood-Mount Stamp
from Inkadinkado (Vintage Flower In a Bottle) stamped on white cardstock
·
Colored with Spectrum
Noir Classique markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen.

I’ve had this sweet image in my digi
collection since 2018, and the cute Kawaii coffee cups always make me smile. I made this card to enter into this month's Coffee Loving Paper
Crafters/Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge. I wanted the card to have a
yummy latte feeling, so I used lots of tans and browns, plus, because it is a Christmas card, added muted shades of red and
green plus a touch of glittery bling!

Since we just dug out from a 12-inch
snowfall, it seems weird to be making Easter Cards… but it's less than two
weeks away, so… I got some work to do! The sweet little ducky is from Eureka Stamps, which are just starting to be sold again online (yay!) He looks wonderful framed
in a polka-dotted chipboard square. I’ve had the yellow feathers and both of the
digi sentiments in my stash for many years. All other items are from my stash.
