A sweet bunny from Not2Shabby,
named Carrots, is featured on this playful and pretty Easter card. I paired the
little cutie with a bold Easter sentiment, which I colored with soft pastels to resemble Easter eggs. The colors also serve as a reminder of the gorgeous
spring rainbows that will soon emerge from their winter naps!

Pinky Challenge #2612
Early this week I was excited to get an
email advertising the STAMPlorations & Coffee Loving
Paper Crafters: Spring Coffee Collab Hop! (Logo) I was so excited that I printed off a few pages of
STAMPlorations digis and started to make cards. So… when I actually visited the
HOP I was surprised to learn that we don’t have to make and post cards… we just
need to visit the blogs of the amazing DT’s for STAMPlorations and leave them
some kudos! So, I’ll be doing that, plus starting today, I’ll begin sharing by sharing
one of them, and then share others after the January Coffee Loving Paper Crafters
Challenge kicks off!
I have always loved pinecones,
so the first card I made features a one in a festive holiday digi. I trimmed the digi down a bit to fit into the March
sketch at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers
group (BYSHC) Challenge on FB, and also trimmed the sentiment from the
digi so that it also fits the sketch. I really like the way the card turned
out! (PS- I also really like being able
to tell you four more wonderful things
1) This digi was a freebie
when I nabbed it back in 2018, 2) it is still available, 3) is still free…. and 4)
it is part of a TRIO of freebies HERE! This
is just one example of how kind and generous Shery Russ, STAMPlorations artist/owner,
truly is. I have a feeling other freebies are sprinkled around her shop! So
stop by and have fun!)
Supplies:
· Coffee digi- a
freebie from STAMPlorations in Dec 2018 (from a trio of festive digis that are
all FREE and still
available HERE!)
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers, Sakura Gelly
Roll white & silver gel pens
·
Front
sentiment- Trimmed from the free STAMPplorations Coffee digi!
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura
Gelly Roll white gel pen
·
Inside
Sentiment-“Tis the Season for Coffee” from a Beccy’s Place digi set (Christmas Cheers) (Beccy recently closed her digi shop. She now sells clear stamp
sets online. Check HERE to see which sets
are available!)
·
Small
coffee cup embellishment on inside sentiment is from an old Stampin’ Up set (Retired.)
· Christmas-themed papers from Hobby Lobby.
