myasperations 10-22-24 (rvs)

This fun card features an adorable TPS Halloween digi, the sweet sentiment is from a Beccy’s Place Halloween digi set, and a wonderful background from DisDigiStamps. The trio of digis make a great Halloween card!
I’m entering this card into several challenges including Inspiration Stations Photo Prompt (my card features a Jack-o-lantern, Halloween balloon, and spooky background), and Outlawz- Tuesday Color Challenge (my Halloween card features an orange pumpkin with a yellow handle, plus a bluish tint to the sky.)
Supplies:
·   Background-Dis Digi Stamps Freebie on FB 10-10-23 (Halloween Sky)

·   Digi- The Paper Shelter Digital Stamp (Spoooky!)

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Front Sentiment “Got Candy?” from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Costume Parade)

·   All other items from my stash.

I'm excited it's time for the annual Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers {BYSHC} FALLING for the Holidays  Linky Party! This year's week-long party offers 16 sponsors, providing 11  random-draw prizes plus most offer sales during the weeklong event.
Due to an unexpectedly busy week, this is my first entry, featuring the digi “Woodland Snowman” from sponsor Rachelle Ann Miller. I printed, colored, fussy-cut and adhered the gathering of friends to a section of an upcycled calendar page, then adorned it with a flurry of die-cut snowflakes.
I’m entering this card into several challenges, including ABC Christmas Challenge- “U is for Unusual Christmas Colours” (although there are a few patches of red and green in the snowman's scarf and cap plus the small Christmas tree and ornament, the majority of the colors on this card-pink, blue and brown- are not traditional.)
Supplies:

·   Background Snowy scene (front and inside) from and upcycled calendar page

·   Digi- Rachelle Anne Miller-Woodland Snowman

·   Colored with Decorative Chalks, Spectrum Noir Classique markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Snowflakes- Cheery Lynn Designs Die (C146 Snowflakes) Retired

·   Snowflakes- Lawn Fawn LF995-Mini Snowflakes Die Set

·   Front Sentiment “Merry Christmas” from Polka Dot Orchard Digi Set (Swinging By With Holiday Cheer)

·   Inside Sentiment- We Are 3 Digital Sentiments  (Wishing You) Sadly company is no longer in business

·   All other items from my stash.

I made this card to enter into two current coffee-themed challenges. It features a fun digi named "Coffee Hero" (aka Batman)!  I used a free background scene that I found on the web a few years ago as the base. I printed, colored, and fussy-cut Batman and set him aside. A scrap of black paper became a “building” upon which Batman can perch to drink his coffee! A Batman symbol was sketched on an oval of vellum, sketched and cut out with an Exacto knife. A cone shape was cut on vellum and attached to the Batman symbol (with just a small smudge of adhesive.) When the cone with the symbol was finished, I laid it across the card front and then sat Batman on the roof. Since I didn’t want any adhesive to show on the cone, I positioned the spotlight so that the point could be taped/adhered behind Batman's head and the top of the spotlight could be positioned in the sky and attached with a small bit of adhesive. (I found that the spotlight I created looked better placed at an angle with the top edge trimmed off.) The final touch was to add die-cut snowflakes and an important sentiment!
I’m entering this card into several challenges including Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge-Coffee + Whimsical Winter (I’m hoping that the idea of Batman enjoying coffee before going to “work” is considered whimsical… especially during a snowfall!)

Supplies:

·   Background “City Night Scene” is a freebie I found several years ago HERE

·   Batman Digi- Crafting Desert Diva digi (Coffee Hero) Company no longer in business.

·   Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·   Snowflakes- Cheery Lynn Designs Die (C146 Snowflakes) Retired

·   Snowflakes- Lawn Fawn LF995-Mini Snowflakes Die Set

·   Front Sentiment “But First Coffee”- a freebie from LoveSVG.

·   All other items from my stash.

    1. Stephanie, thanks for your comment. I was in a hurry when getting my post up last night so must have mixed up the cards. However, I just checked and looks like my coffee card is entered. So... looks like maybe my fairy Godmother switched it out for me? Or possibly Batman?!
BTW- I very much appreciate your Time Out Challenge!
