This is my final entry for the current Butterfly
Challenge, which is a favorite of mine. This card includes all three of the required colors: Persimmon (in the butterfly wings), Pistachio (leaves), and Pale
Pink (silk rose and striped on pinafore), plus two of the themes: Pillar Fold
and Butterfly.)
I’m entering this card into several other challenges including Snippets (another of my
favorite challenges that helps me to use up bits and pieces of treasured papers
and other supplies): for this card, I used scraps from the last treasured sheets
of dotted Swiss papers. I’ve always loved their rich, regal colors (navy blue
and burgundy) and have saved them in my stash for many years), a tiny bit of
textured baby rose patterned vellum, and scraps of ribbon and paper doily.

Friends of Sweet November Stamps (SNS) FB
page is celebrating “MerMay” with a fun coloring challenge. This card
features a sweet SNS digi and free SNS sentiment. I had fun making the Pillar
Card for the Butterfly Challenge, mainly because Mrs. A provided an excellent
tutorial, so decided to make another one for MerMay!
I’m entering this card into several challenges including Park Hopping-My
Happy Place (I love the whimsical magic of fairies, so would love to one day
add a theme park in the Netherlands The Fairytale Forest at
Efteling Park to my bucket list!)

The sponsor for the May Outlawz Progressive Challenge is Sandra, and
I loved creating a card with her beautiful Flower In a Vase Digi. I wasn’t sure
what type of flower this is… so I did some web research and looks like it is a
Zinnia. My inspiration photo is a Sunset Zinnia. I love their rich, bold,
colors, especially when paired with several items from my stash: medallion
die-cut, ribbon, paper lace, plus pretty pink striped paper.
Note- Outlawz moved to a new platform for their
challenges last year. It is easier to navigate plus posting entries is so quick
and easy. The number of followers is
smaller than at the old site, so if you haven’t joined yet, you might want to
do so soon! Not only will it bring a smile to our friends at Outlawz, but they also offer nine different challenges, many many prizes so your
chances of winning a random draw are good. You can find the site HERE. Stop on by and have fun looking around. And if you have any questions, leave a
comment on this post and I’ll see if I can help to get you started! Supplies:
