The front of the first one features a Eureka digi (ES-digi34502 Tree Losing Leaves) and a
Eureka sentiment (ES-digi7706 Thinking of You.) After coloring the scene with Spectrum Noir markers and a
Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen, I added “leaves” with three beautiful colors
of Nuvo Crystal drops. I love the sheen and texture that they add to the card!
The inside sentiment is also from Eureka (ES-digi 19801 You Loving Ways) with the
added bling of scattered Nuvo drops.

My second DT card for the QKR Stampede Challenge is a delicate Easter
card. The front features a butterfly fussy-cut from a large Eureka digi (ES 58501- Butterfly background) and a fun-to-color
Eureka sentiment (ES-digi3701 Happy Easter.) The background
is created with a handful of paper strips and a tutorial I found HERE. I cut a frame into pretty notecard
that has an embossed edge and taped the pastel background behind this frame. I
colored the Happy Easter sentiment and beautiful butterfly with Spectrum Noir markers and added
details with a white Sakura Gelly Roll gel pen. I didn’t want the patterned
background to overwhelm the butterfly, so I added a layer of vellum atop the
background. The inside sentiment is also a Eureka digi (ES-digi57502 Easter Blessings.) I added a
few little butterflies colored and fussy-cut from the butterfly background digi. Am entering this card into several challenges including Butterfly Challenge (it includes one color- Pink Lavender.)

My final
card for this post is from the company Biblical Impressions, which is
one of the companies sold on a website named Stamp On It
(which also sell QKR and Eureka stamps and digis!) This card features a wonderful wood-mount
stamp named Large Hermit Crab which is a favorite of
mine. I love coloring the cute critter with my Spectrum Noir markers and a
Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. For this card, I used a bunch of scrap papers
in assorted colors, circle dies and photos from old calendar pages (I NEVER
throw calendars away… and several people now save them for me. So fun!) The
sentiments are computer-generated.
