Stamping at 25 below zero

It's been a long week with unbelievably cold winter weather. So… I am looking forward to enjoying a lot of crafting and coffee drinking this weekend. I'm declaring tomorrow as coffee o'clock all day long! (And enjoying using this stamp, which is a recent win in a Bugaboo challenge!)

The current challenge at Di's Digis is called Celebrations. I used one of Di's cute images named Animal Tower, but just used the zebra, enlarging and fussy cutting the image. Perched a party hat on his head and added a balloon to give the card a celebratory feeling. Carried the party to the inside of the card by adding patterned paper and a balloon to the sentiment.

Just discovered the Little Scraps of Heaven digi challenge a few months ago and have had fun playing with a few of their images. This is one of their freebies that I found here lshdesigns.blogspot.com/2013/01/this-weeks-free-digi-bear-with-snowflake.html.  I printed the sentiments off on my computer.  Am entering this card into several challenges, including Power Poppy which requires the use of a sketch this month from this website- www.pagemaps.com/cardmaps (I included a photo of the sketch) and CAS-usal Fridays that requires glitter (so I provided a close up to show the glittery snowflake.)

  4. Wow! What a great collection of cards! I was so impressed at how each one was completely original and totally charming in its own way. The coffee card made me smile and I like the toasty warm colors you incorporated. I also adore the fun factor of your zebra card and the winter card was definitely caused me to utter an "Awwwwwww" for its cuteness and sweet sentiment. I enjoyed your post so much and thank you for taking the time to share your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
