A Trio of Creative Folds

Had fun making a card with another cute free digi that I just found at Little Scraps of Heaven (available here lshdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/12/bear-in-penguin-hat-free-digi-stamp.html) Made a side step card that will be heading to my sweet MIL in a few weeks. She is 95 and lives in a nice assisted living facility where she likes to display the cards I send her, especially the ones that have special folds. So I think she will like this one! A friend at wecraftcards is hosting a challenge this week to requires us to use this great fold (foldremarkablycreated.com/2017/06/42470). I love making cards with creative folds, but this was a new one for me. Was fun to make a card that featured a wonderful Bugaboo digi. The card actually is pretty easy to make. But I did realize how badly I need to purchase some circle dies. It was difficult to hand cut two circles and have them slide smoothly. I ended up doing lots of trimming and re-trimming.

I love the unique character in the Art Impressions stamp line. This talented pianist, named Betty, is sure to cheer someone's birthday. Found the template for the flip card on Pinterest and decided to try making one. So it was something new for me and surprisingly easy.

  10. These cards are all so wonderful. Love the folds on each one of them. We are grateful that you joined our Challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with the inspiration that comes from God's Word in Romans 1:17 which says, "For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Have a blessed week.
