This week’s challenge at the wecraftcards Forum is named “Birds, Bees, Flowers, Trees...Oh My!” and requires that we use any, or all, of the four items on our cards. I created a pretty floral card adorned with busy... or should I say buzzy... little bumbles! I look forward to seeing spring flowers start popping up soon… that is if the snow predicted for later this week stays away.  It is definitely time for Spring!
I’m entering this card into several challenges including Outlawz  Twisted Thursday Anything Goes (One of my Favorite Embellishments is foam tape- which gives a lift to butterflies, bees and more!)

        Since I’m a Contributor for Beccy’s Place, I’m entering just for fun!

A recent challenge at wecraftcards required that we include a birdhouse on our entry. I remembered seeing a birdhouse in my box of “card candy swap” treasures from many years ago. I don't know who made the original little work of art (small diecut birdhouse tag with flower button) but I love it! I added a sweet little puffy heart sticker and sentiment HOPE sticker, replaced the twine on the tag with scraps of sheer red and tan satin ribbon and added a little texture with a square of woven straw ribbon as a base. Lastly, I mounted the finished tag onto a card front and decorated a wonderful sentiment inside. (The set of three sheets, a whopping 24 sentiments, is quite a deal for only $1.88!)

I was hoping to create the fun fold for the current Butterfly Challenge, but my over-scheduled calendar didn’t allow me time to make the Lantern Fold. (I hope to make one in the near future.) But I do so love making cards for Mrs. A’s challenge, so I made sure to pick a sweet unicorn card that includes butterflies for the current Double D’s Challenge (another of my favorite challenges!) I’m entering this card into several other challenges including Outlawz  Festive Friday (Thinking of You) and The Butterfly Challenge (my card includes two colors- Lilac and Laser Lemon and one theme- butterflies.)
