For this week's challenge at QKR Stampede, I made a card using a QKR digi image (Q-digi21504 Straddling Moose) that you can find at stamponit.net. I colored the gangly guy with Spectrum Noir markers, then layered him atop a rectangle of red cardstock. Attached that to patterned background paper with black photo corners and finished off the fun by fussy-cutting bright swirls from paper scraps to peek from around the image. The little party hat on his head and the inside sentiment are both from a cute freebie from Handmade by Paula.

I love the Pixie's Snippets challenge as it encourages me to use up some of my smaller pieces of precious paper [and since I cannot throw away scraps… I have lots!] For this card I cut inchies from scraps of two patterned papers and one scrap of ridged gold paper upcycled from the flap of an A6 envelope. I cut a piece of cream colored cardstock to slightly smaller than an A2 Kraft card base and attached it. The sentiment was upcycled from an old Printworks stamp catalog. [I wish I would have bought the stamp when it was available. I love its swirly beauty.] I positioned and attached the inchies to the cream cardstock, placing the gold one in the center to draw attention, then attached the sentiment across the bottom row. Punched hearts from small scraps of cardstock, and one piece of dotted red paper, then arranged them on the inchies. The final touch was to add a bit of red with the rhinestone and coloring the small hearts in the sentiment with a red Spectrum Noir marker. So pretty. I'm also entering this into several other challenges including Mod Squad Challenge that requires the use of at least 3 different patterned papers- if you could the ridged gold, this card has four patterns.
I also have extra hearts and cut a bunch of extra inchies to make more like this for other occasions.
