Here is the card I made from the
other half of the beautiful Sunflower digital image from STAMPlorations the
Color Blooms (Coloring book) that I posted yesterday. This image has a collage feeling with a
background of words, which I just realized are actually upside down! (I added
an unintentional surprise to the card… which was also a surprise to me!
Oooopsie!)
I added to the bright sunshine
theme with sunburst
patterned paper, a circle of
glittering gold paper, and a “Hello Sunshine” sentiment.
Supplies:
·
Sunflower Digi- Stamplorations (Color Blooms Coloring
Book)
·
Front Sentiment, “Hello
Sunshine”
is from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Bees and
Blooms) (Beccy
closed her digi shop last year but still sells clear stamp sets online.

·
Colored with Spectrum
Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Inside Sentiment- “May Your Day Be Blessed!”
(Computer-generated using Edwardian Script ITC Font, available to download from
several free online sites, and Calibri) I provided a copy of
the jpg sentiment I developed using these fonts. Just click on the sentiment,
then right-click and save it to your laptop, etc.!
· Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several
sources on the web.
·

Wanted to
make one more coffee gnome card for this month’s Sketch challenge at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers group (BYSHC), May Challenge on FB. This time, the sweet gnome is
perched atop a strip of deep red paper with a bold snowflake, and a base of yummy brown
paper that makes me think of creamy, rich coffee!
The (pre-colored gnome is from a favorite
FB site, Free Printables for your Junk Journaling with TLC. (See details
in my supplies section.) I shared cards featuring one of the gnomes, but with
different color schemes/themes, in my last two posts. So… I guess he is already
becoming one of my favs?!
I’m
entering this card into several challenges, including Coffee Loving Paper
Crafters/ Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge (the gnome is holding a cup of
brew, plus the inside sentiment is about coffee), and ABC Christmas Challenge (beautiful snowflake paper). Supplies:

My final card for this posting was made for the Outlawz Anything but a Card Challenge. I immediately thought of making a Christmas
ornament after I unearthed this sweet digi image already printed off and ready
to color, a digi with a simple Christmas star and “Hope” sentiment, and this
slice of wood when decluttering/organizing my craft room. A few staple items
from my stash helped to bring the ornament to reality!
Supplies:
· Digi- “Izzys Nativity” is from Di’s Digis Stamp (sadly now retired)
· Colored with Spectrum
Noir Classique markers, Sakura Gelly Roll white & silver gel pens
· Digi- Christmas star and “Hope”-
Source unknown
·
Gold and silver stars
made with glitter paper and assorted punches/templates from my stash.
·
Sookwang double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
·
Strip of cord, other misc. items
and tools from my stash.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. Thank you for joining us for the Twisted challenge at the Outlawz.
ReplyDeleteKathy, all of these are such wonderful projects! I think the words that are upside down on your first card look just fine. They’re sort of distressed looking anyway. I would’ve thought that they were supposed to be that way. The strawberries are very sweet too. I love the scalloped border on that card. And thanks so much for sharing your tag with us at Word Art Wednesday. We always appreciate you playing along with us!
