Back in 2017, Dearie Dolls'
images were what moved me from stamping images to printing them off on my
computer. I still occasionally use wood-mounted stamps and clear stamps, but mostly use digis (which are more in line with my budget, and so much easier to
store!) I wanted to make another card to help Double D’s celebrate their 10th Birthday (year online), and this sweet Super Girly from Dearie Dolls seems like
a perfect fit! I had fun coloring the little cutie with my Spectrum Noir
markers and white gel pen (which helped me to add the delicate look of her tulle
tutu!) And of course, I needed to add a sprinkling of small, punched stars made
with glittery cardstock. I have a feeling that even superheroes like BLING!
An added note- I will be
sending this card to one of my grandnieces who loves playing dress up. I added a
black circle next to the inside sentiment, and I plan to write her name on a strip
of white cardstock, adhere it to a scrap of glittery gold paper, and add it to
the circle. I want her to know that the sentiment is specifically for HER!

This fun
digi is a new addition to my collection of Patties Creations digis. When I
first saw this “silly bird,” I knew immediately that my chicken-lovin’ friend
would love any card I made with it! In this case, I made a Christmas card that
features this month’s sketch at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers
group (BYSHC) Challenge on FB, because she
really does look like she needs coffee to prepare for Christmas. Actually, she
might need a few vats of coffee and 11 months before she is ready for Christmas
again?!

I have always loved
this sweet digi from The Paper Shelter named Little Butterfly. For this card, I
enlarged the digi to fill the corner of an A2 card base, printed it onto white card stock, colored,
fussy-cut, and set it aside. I found some pretty patterned paper in my stash,
and just knew that the white lacy edges would work perfectly on a Valentine's
Day card. I did a bit of fussy cutting of one lacy strip, adhered it in place,
added sentiments, and dressed up the
center of the card with bits of extra patterned paper and TaDa... done!

I used a
wonderful digi from Anne’s Digital Art, named “Daisy and Bee” for this card. I
had fun coloring this daisy a pretty pastel shade to match the daisies in the
patterned paper I used for the card base. After coloring the daisy and little
bee, I adhered the image to the daisy patch, then added Stickles to the bee's
wings and eyes to add some sparkle and texture. The sentiment is a perfect fit
for the image… and the spring that it represents!
