I won this sweet digi,
along with several others, at last month’s coffeelovingpapercrafters 2025 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, so it is fun to be able
to make a card to enter in to this month’s Coffee Loving Papercrafters/Caffeinated Christmas Card
Challenge!
I sketched hearts onto
the cup to reflect the front sentiment, and the inside sentiment reflects how I
feel whenever I spend time with family!
I'm also entering this card into the Not2Shabby December Challenge Mood Board (I added hearts to the beautiful coffee-drinker's mug and also used several colors from this month's Color Board-sage green, light pink, peach and brown.)
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique
markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
·
Sentiments- from a Beccy’s Place Digi sets that are no longer available. (Business recently changed to clear

Not2Shabby Mood Board Challenge- December (Mood board) (Photo)
This sweet gingerbread boy is one of my favorite digis from Beccy’s Place. (My nickname
for this pudgy little cutie is “Pillsbury” because he is such a cute little
doughball!) I printed Pillsbury onto Kraft cardstock which is the color
of gingerbread, and also it simplifies the coloring process (which mainly
included shading with a few tan and brown makers, adding his nose and tummy
button with red markers, added green to the irises of his eyes, then finishing
with a white gel pen to fill in the whites of his eyes, and to add highlights
to the image (check the photo for their placement!) When finished, I fussy-cut
the little guy and set him aside.
I wanted the coloring of the gifts and
candy canes to be bright and clear, so I printed an extra copy of just that
part of the image on white cardstock, colored, fussy-cut, then adhered them in
place atop the original image. I also used an exacto knife to cut around Pillsbury's hand so I could slide the gifts and candycanes underneath them. A few small strips of foam tape on the underside of his hands adds some depth to the image. So cute!
