I recently
purchased a set of Tim Holtz Found Relatives cutouts and had a lot of fun using them to create cards with humorous sentiments. This sentiment is a bit snarky/mean… but I
thought it was a good fit for the look on the vintage woman’s face. And… my husband
said it was his all-time favorite of the cards I've made. So I hope it isn’t too offensive? And maybe
even provide you with a giggle or guffaw? (The card also fits nicely into the
current challenge at Simon Says Wednesday: Layer it up/Use Ephemera)
Supplies:
· Sentiment (divided
into two sections)- freebie from Gingershouse Blogspot (No Spark between us…)
· Sookwang
double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.

I’m
having fun creating yummy cards for the chocolate/sweets theme at Park Hopping.
This one took some time to pull together because I needed to piece together the
“ransom note” with words found, fussy-cut and pasted in place. A freebie
sentiment, chocolate themed, carries the fun into the inside of the card. The
final touches were to embellish the front and inside of the card with luscious chocolates
(stickers) and chocolate fingerprint smears (made with my fingers and a brown
ink pad!)
I’m entering this card into
several challenges, including Colorful Options: Color
Board AG (my card features 3 of the colors, and a shade of red that might
qualify as light burgundy?)
· Stickers of Yummy Chocolates-
Dollar Tree
· Front Sentiment- "Hand over the chocolate..." created
with words cut from assorted old magazines
· Inside Sentiment- “Chocolate
doesn’t ask silly questions…”- freebie from skogstokiga.blogspot.com- (Sadly,
blog is closed)
· Sookwang
double-sided tape- Available from several sources on the web.
· Brown ink pad, other
misc. items and tools from my stash.
