Where’s the Mute Button?

This card makes me laugh… mainly because it sounds like something my hubby of 43 years would say! On more than one occasion, he actually has pointed the TV remote at me and pushed the mute button. What an old goat! I'm giving this card to him for his birthday next week... when he becomes an even older goat!! (Can you tell that I kinda like him?) The images of Stella and Gus, plus the sentiments are all from Bugaboo. Decorative papers, Spectrum Noir markers, a white gel pen, and a few puffy stickers on a gatefold base bring the card to life. So fun!

I love butterflies because they carry the message of hope following a struggle. So I love the Butterfly Challenge.  The sponsor, Mrs. A,  is both generous and talented, plus for each challenge she provides very easy to follow instructions for making a creative fold card. Mrs. A’s instructions make the current “X Fold” easy to make. My card features one theme color- Xanad (Grey/green), and three themes (the X Fold, a butterfly and Xtra colors of pink and green.  I'm entering this card into several challenges including 2craftycrittercrazies (I hope that a butterfly is considered a critter? If not... please don't count this entry in the draw.)

My final card is made in honor of Mother’s Day, using a new digital image from Sherry West Art named Poppi Pokkadott. I had fun coloring the little cutie to match the sweet cupcake patterned paper. The fun sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations.
