myasperations 9-13-25

This fall card features a cute little origami fox from a set of 12 origami “critters” that I found on sale at Oriental Trading Company a while ago. The original fox is cute, but I did a bit of fussy-cutting to create the look of “fur.”  When he looked nice and fluffy, I set him aside to build the card’s background with scraps of assorted leafy patterned papers. I wanted to add additional color and texture to my card, so I dug into my box of fall and Thanksgiving papers and ephemera… and found a scrap of wrapping paper with beautiful, realistic leaves.  I fussy-cut several of them and scattered them across the front and inside of the card.
I’m entering this card into several challenges including Time Out Challenge: Favorite Season (My favorite season is Fall. To me, there is nothing as beautiful as trees dressed in their colorful Autumn attire!), Inspiration Station (My card features many versions of colorful tree confetti, aka, leaves!), Outlawz Tuesday Color Board (my card features many of these luscious colors), and Paper Funday (Our season will be changing to Fall in the near future!)
