I made a nice assortment of cards to enter into the 2024
Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop earlier this week, but some family health
issues have prevented me from posting them until now. Since the deadline is
closing in, I will get them entered with supply lists and come back
tomorrow to fill in additional details! So stay tuned.
This first card I’m entering this card into several other challenges
including Beccy’s Place Annual Month of Holiday Cards
Challenge. Every day in
November Beccy provides a theme (most based on the letters of the alphabet) and
invites participants to create cards for ANY holiday and using images from any
company. And… she offers several prizes on a daily and weekly basis. So there
is no reason not to get involved.
This card features a stack of tea cups from
one of Beccy’s retired digi sets, which is a fav of mine. I think it pairs
beautifully with the classic sheet music, a doily scrap, and bit of greenery
fussy-cut from an old card. The sentiments on the front and inside of the card
focus the theme to friends, family and home!
Supplies:
· Free Sheet Music “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” found HERE · Stack of Cups Digi from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set-Tea Time (Retired)
· Paperpieced after printing on colored paper and fussy cutting the cups apart
· Shading and highlights added with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Sentiment- “Christmas is when all roads…” and “Christmastime-A time...” from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Home for the Holidays)
· Greenery on front and inside are fussy-cut from an old Christmas Card
· All other items from my stash.

(Photo)
This card features a yummy digi from one of Beccy’s beverage-themed set. I
embellished the card with an assortment of items from my cardmaking stash
including silver photo corners, a doily, and beautiful poinsettia paper as a
background… and it’s a freebie from Gradiellie Designs. (I reduced the digi to
A2 size panel, pasted two of them into a Word document, then darkened the coloring
of one of the panels. em. After printing them off, I used my Word program to
slightly darken one of the panels, printed them off, then cut them in half
diagonally so that I could have the contrasting backgrounds on my card.) Paired
with a doily, and silver corners, my finished card has what I’ll call a “Victorian
Shabby-chic” feeling.
Supplies:
· Hot Beverage Digi
(pre-colored) and front sentiment “Hot Chocolate Wisses…” from Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Christmas Cheers)
·
Inside Sentiment- “Cozy
Christmas” from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Christmas Kitties)
· Shading and highlights added with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura
Gelly Roll white and silver gel pens
· Silver photo
corners available from several web sources (WXJ13 Photo Mounting Corners)
· All other items
from my stash.

Since I’m a Contributor for Beccy’s Place (sponsor of the next three challenges), I’m entering them just for fun!
I love this sweet
digi from All Dressed Up, especially because artist/owner Wendy Burns did an amazing job adding the cable stitch texture to the beautiful girl's comfy winter
cap. After coloring the cap with markers in a few shades of blue, all it took
was a bit of shading and highlights to make the cap look soft enough to touch! The
name of the digi, “Warm Hands Warm Heart”, is inspired by the coffee cop the cutie
is holding in her hands. The blue snowflake patterned paper helped set my color
scheme, especially when paired with shades of pink. I found a scrap of light
pink paper filled with small doily’s and used my trusty white gel pen to turn them
into snowflakes. When fussy-cut and adhered to the front and inside of the
card, they add a bit of wintry whimsy.
Supplies:
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers and Sakura
Gelly Roll white gel pen
· Front Sentiment “Mugs & Kisses” from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Christmas Cheers)
· Front Sentiment “Warm Holiday Wishes” from a Beccy’s Place Digi Set (Christmas Kitties)
· Silver paper used
as backing/framing sentiments- upcycled coffee can liner
· Patterned paper and
other items from my stash.
