Two Bears and a Fairy

I love this sweet Sherri Baldy digi of a girl and her teddy bear. Plus it has an adorable name- Little White Dove and Running Bear! It was fun to color the image on Kraft cardstock and even more fun to find a few “treasures” in my stash that I could use to decorate the card.

Supplies: 

·    Sherri Baldy Digi- My Besties (Little White Dove & Running Bear)

·    Inside  sentiment- Love SVG (Dream Really Big)

·    Printed on Kraft Cardstock

·    Colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen

·    Memories Sticker Label, stars and assorted bling- From my stash

·    Thin leather ribbon, feather charm, beads, ribbon, and a small silver medallion from my stash.

·    A strip of kraft cardstock cut into a fringe, shaded with markers and crunched to “age”

     A small strip of this fringe was made into a "tassle" that hangs from the silver   

     medallion.

This card also has a cute teddy bear… this time made with a vintage PSX stamp. I wanted to create a card for Pixie’ Snippets, so I cut strips from scraps of paper, vellum and upcycled floral calendars to create a backdrop for the cute teddy bear. The funny sentiment is from my files (I’ve had it for a few decades and don’t have any idea of the source. I even checked the web and had no luck. Sorry.)

My final card for this post features a beautiful Christmas fairy from Digi Doodle Studios with an elegant name- Starling Moonglow.  After I colored the sweet digi, attached her onto music score vellum and added the sentiment… it just felt like the card needed something else. I noticed a few vellum snowflakes scattered near my markers… and inspiration struck!  I scattered the pretty flakes across the page and gently slid one between the fingers of her outstretched hand. Voilà! That was just what the card needed to add a bit of magic. (Which also inspired the inside sentiment!)
