Friday also means that I get to share DT cards for the Colour Crazy Challenge. I love this challenge because it is always
“Anything Goes” AND it requires coloring in “any colouring medium you
like, onto any project you like, and in any colours you like.” I’ve never
outgrown my love for coloring… which is why I so love making cards! The
challenges last for 2 weeks but four DT teams
take turns posting weekly inspiration every Friday. Join us and you might win
prizes from our challenge sponsors!
Our sponsor this week is Oddball Arts and my card features a digi named “Rudolph.” I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen. The vintage sheet music on the background is a freebie that I found HERE. His shiny nose is truly shiny... since I used a red rhinestone! The “Magical Christmas” sentiment inside of the card, layered atop Christmas plaid, is a freebie from Birdscards

My final card for this challenge went together very
quickly. It includes scraps of ribbon, paper lace and patterned paper,
including one Christmas Plaid (I do love Christmas plaid… if you didn’t already
realize that!) The circle sentiment on the front and sticker sentiment on the
inside are both from a scrapbook embellishment set. Simple but yet slightly
elegant. (Oh, and the white scrap was made with the gold string spray that used on the Thank You card in my last post.)
