My final entry into The Paper Shelter's current challenge, "Time to Celebrate," is a Christmas card. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. And, I am blessed to be married to an amazing guy who also loved Christmas. We even got married on December 30th so that the church would be decked out with Christmas decorations. We've celebrated 40 Christmases since that day… and have the boxes of decorations to prove it! I picked up this wonderful holly vellum a few years ago and just found it when organizing my stash. The sentiment stamp is unmounted and I have no idea who made it. [If anyone recognizes it, please let me know. When I stripped dozens of stamps from the wood mounts years ago I never realized that I'd want to identify them. Because… well… I couldn't image that I'd ever have a blog. Now I cannot imagine NOT having one!]

I love using vellum to make the ghost on this cute Bugaboo image named "Ghost Peeker." The sentiment on the inside of the card and background subway image on the front and are both from TLC Creations [createwithtlc.blogspot.com] I added wiggly eyes to the front image because… well… wiggly eyes are so fun.

For my final card in this posting, I made a Tri-fold shutter card (tutorial can be found here- qbeesquest.blogspot.com/2013/05/secret-garden-tri-fold-shutter-card.html) Used a few of my favorite wood mount stamps from Stampscapes [which sells amazing scenery stamps] and the owl is from a company named Northwoods [that used to sell wonderful wildlife stamps. Sadly, I cannot find them via google so they must no longer be in business.] The sentiment is computer generated.
