For this week's challenge at QKR Stampede I used an adorable QKR image named "Fresh Cut Tree" [you can find it here- stamponit.net, code #Q-digi13814] I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers and added a few highlights with a white gel pen. I made the background using scraps from my stash and instructions found here- stampinpretty.com/2016/01/strips-of-love-blossoms-valentine-card.html) I'm not sure what sentiment I'm going to put on the inside of the card. Am looking for the perfect fit... and Ii still have a few months to find it before Christmas arrives.

I used a Stampin' Up die to make this fall card. Had a few leaves in my stash that I had die cut from brass foil when crafting together years ago. Burnished the veins in them with a dry embossing stylus to add sme texture and realism. Used a scrapbook sticker on the inside with a few more bronze foil leaves. Pretty simple card to make with a nice bling factor.

For this whimsical card I used a Tiddly Ink digi named "Dandylion Pixie" and a freebie sentiment from TLC Creations [createwithtlc.blogspot.com] The Pixie is colored with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and white gel pen. I added depth and texture to the dandelion with Polar White Flowersoft and a bit of clear glitter to provide a little sparkle for this cutie! For instructions to make the braided edging visit- www.craftideas.info/html/incere.html [you'll find a template halfway down the page.]
Am entering this card into a few challenges, Tiddly Inks Color Challenge, Doing Life Create with TLC [they has many amazing free sentiments] and Kitty Bee Designs Challenge "Fairytale/Fantasy." [I was thinking that pixies and fairies were pretty similar until I googled them a few months ago and learned that they are very different in temperament, are not on friendly terms and are actually territorial enemies. Just imagine the battles they are having that we can't even see? Ha.]
