I love this sweet image from Craftin Desert Diva named "Coffee Hero." Created this card to fit their January Mood board, perching him atop an ice-crusted street sign. (I've had the icicle sticker strip and alphabet stickers in my scrapbook stash for years. When I saw the mood board I knew how to put them to use!) The sentiment was created using a free font named AR Christy. So fun! (Am entering this card into several challenges, including Power Poppy which requires the use of a sketch this month from this website- www.pagemaps.com/cardmaps. I flipped the sketch and the "fringe" doesn't run across the whole card, but otherwise, it is a perfect fit!)

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Anything Goes. Of course, I pulled out my favorite AI image. Her name is Maude and I am starting to resemble her more with each passing year! Doesn't she have spunk? (I printed the sentiment off on my computer.)

I was excited to win several digi sets in Beccy's Place Fifth Annual Month of Holiday Cards Challenge that was held in November. This one, named Splish Splash, has so many wonderful images and coordinating sentiments. I printed one of the digis on the corner of a sheet of rainbow stationary. If this winter ever ends we'll see rainbows again. Can't wait!

Your cards are wonderful. Printing the image on rainbow stationary was a stroke of genius. Your sentiments are perfect. So glad you joined us at A2Z Scrapbooking.
ReplyDeleteYour first card immediately took me back to my early days of scrapbooking Kathy... I remember those letter stickers, I had HEAPS! I think they ended up being passed on to my kids at some stage, but I have no idea what happened to them from there. Anyway, you've done a wonderful job with the card, I love the sentiment and can totally relate to the feeling. Coffee first is a good motto for a busy day!
ReplyDeleteI got quite a chuckle from the sentiment on your second card, love it! The image is fabulous and you did a great job with the colouring.
Your final card for this post is fabulous. It was a great idea to print the image on a piece of rainbow paper, I love how it turned out. I also like the way you split the sentiment in two and placed one section inside the card, great idea.
Cheers,
Beccy
