The
sponsor this week is Sheepski Designs and
I used a digi named "Beach Hut
Holiday” on my DT card. I used an upcycled calendar page as my
background, plus added some additional color with circles of yellow vellum and a
pink plastic document folder. (These wonderful items come in a pack of assorted colors and can be
found in the office supply section of most stores and sometimes dollar stores. They're
cheaper than colored vellum and are more translucent. The plastic is also easy to fussy-cut with a
sharp pair of scissors.)
Right now local college students would be on Spring break, possibly on a beach like this one, if travel wasn't an issue due to the Coronavirus. I cannot wait until this pandemic is over and we all get our lives back. Then... I think that a beach hut somewhere just might have my name on it! Anyone want to join me?

It feels like winter is going on forever
this year! I’m looking forward to spring rains and this cute Bugaboo bear makes
me smile. I especially love his sweet umbrella. A rain of cupcakes would definitely
wash away the winter blahs! And isn’t the Dr. Seuss quote a perfect fit? I’ve
had it in my files ever since taking some child development classes in college
several decades ago. It always resonated with me because I personally really like fun that is funny!

My final card
features a digi that I won from Scribbles a few months ago. When I saw the current challenge at Crafty Catz, I knew that I could use this great digi to make a card to fit the theme boys and their toys! A design on Pinterest caught my eye, and I revised it to make this card. The
hardest part was finding the right sentiments, but a few Beccy’s Digi sets
provided the perfect fit. My sweet hubby likes to create things with wood, so I think this is going to be his 60-something birthday card next month because... well... he's pretty awesome!
