It's Wednesday! So time for another challenge at Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge Blog. Penny's challenges are always Anything Goes and prizes are awarded from one or more sponsors. Stop by the blog to check it out! (pennyschallenges.blogspot.com) This week, I made a card with a cute image and sentiments from a digi set named "Emily-Showers of Love" from Sparkle & Sprinkle [sparklensprinkle.net/collections/digital-stamps] I had picked up a set of pastel glitter stickers at WalMart for 99¢ and they worked perfectly on this card.

I love seeing Christmas challenges start popping up, and decided to make a card to enter into one of them, plus a few of the year-round Christmas challenges. This sweet little bear is a Stampendous image that I pulled from its wood mount a few years ago. Made a Santa hat with a few little paper scraps and a perched it atop his head. The card includes a simple fold that I haven't used in a while called a collar or peekaboo fold [here is a tutorial that I found on Pinterest stampingeorgia.com/2016/01/try-this-fun-fold-technique-with-a-peek-a-boo-valentine.html] Added a strip of sheer ribbon and a computer generated sentiment to finish the card [the swirly font is named Harrington.]

The monthly challenge at Little Scraps of Heaven [LSOH] is to create a Halloween card. I made a card using LSOH's image named "Cat with Booloons." Traced the cat onto black cardstock and a booloon out of vellum. Cut them out and attached them to the front of an A2 sized card which I'd covered with a swirly patterned paper. I added a heart nose on the cat with a small puffy sticker [another 99¢ set that I'd found at WalMart] and made the cats slightly 3-D eyes with green brads, adding details with a black Sharpie pen and white gel pen. The sentiment is a freebie from winkwinkink.com
