Critters and Snowpeople

The monthly challenge at Little Scraps of Heaven (LSOH) is to create a Halloween card. For my final entry into the challenge, I used the critter from the digi named "Taste of Summer" that was the weekly freebie back in May. [I have a nice collection of these great digis because of these weekly freebies, PLUS right now LSOH is having an "all images are a $1.00" sale, which is 50-75% off, so I stocked up.] I found the plastic pumpkin and mini candy bars in a sale flyer from Sundays paper. The sentiment inside is computer generated and printed on vellum.

Decided to use a Little Scraps of Heaven image named "Cat with Booloons"  to make a card to enter into this week's Cat Lovers Blog hop. Traced the cat onto black cardstock and a booloon out of vellum. Upcycled a thank you card on the front of an A2  card [not sure of the company. The original card was from a stamper friend… who doesn't mind if I upcycle parts of her cards.] Attached the cat and booloons o the front of an A2 sized card which I'd covered with a swirly patterned paper. I added a heart nose on the cat with a small puffy sticker (another 99¢ set that I'd found at WalMart) and made the cats slightly 3-D eyes with green brads, adding details with a black Sharpie pen and white gel pen.

This week's Bugaboo Challenge is BINGO. I created a card using the center row: distress [I upcycled a thank you note card what has distressed lettering],  players choice [I chose Bugaboo images- two of the snowmen from the "3 Snowmen" image], and a circle punch. The little snowflakes are puffy stickers, and the inside sentiment is computer generated. I used the SumMoreFun current challenge Sketch as my card layout.
